Back Bay Certified Arabica Seeds are currently SOLD OUT.  Wholesale Seed Nursery on the Back Bay Estate in Simalungun, North Sumatra has mature mother trees of eight different varieties that were all propagated from cherry to seeds; Seeds to Seedlings; Seedlings to Plants that were all planted in separate blocks on the Back Bay Estate. Trees now range in age from 8 to 11 years old. Seeds for sale are hand selected by Lisa from the peak harvest weeks. All sales final. ALL SEED VARIETIES AVAILABLE AGAIN IN Q1 of 2027

Preorders will begin in Q4 of 2026

(1 seed order = 1000 seeds) Seeds are all hand selected by Lisa from cherry harvested during peak harvest weeks. Cherry is pulped and fermented briefly to allow for full wash of parchment. The parchment is dried to 15-18 % mc. All seed purchased are shipped in vacuum sealed packages. All seed purchases come with a Back Bay Estate Variety Certificate of Authenticity. All sales final.

I have offered seeds and seedlings as private sales for years. Many of the varieties on Back Bay were bred to resist the extreme wet and dry weather patterns brought on by climate change. I hope the new wholesale nursery will assist coffee farmers in future proofing their crops to maintain profitable yields and consistent quality.
