We have 3 varieties of macadamia planted over 2 hectare on Back Bay Estate. All varieties are harvested and processed together. The size of the nuts varies with the variety.

The harvested nuts are weighed and then table dried until the outer shell cracks open and the inner shell can be separated. This product is sold as nut in shell which means inner shell has been not been removed and you will need to crack these yourself to reach the fresh, edible nut inside.

Sold as 1 kilo bags, once cracked and inner shell is removed, you will have 250 – 400 grams of  macadamia nuts. Delicious eaten raw, with coconut, savory, sweet flavors. These nuts can be roasted whole, chopped for recipe ingredients or, added whole to cooked and fresh recipes.

Storage: Best stored in cool dry place in your home or business and cracked when ready to eat or add to recipes.
